There is a lot to look at and read. I don’t really understand everything but I think it is like a voice recording of news or something for people to listen to and people use it to post online for people to hear. I’m not sure how the library would use this yet, but I would like to test podcasting for fun sometime.

The two simplest ways I can describe it is like this:
A typical podcast is like a radio show. On the radio, the show comes on each day or week and has a similar format. The podcast is pretty much the same, except you listen to it on your computer or download it to your mp3 player.
Also, a podcast is similar to a blog, except the content is played aloud. This is because podcasts use RSS just like a blog, so you can use a regular RSS reader or a special podcast RSS reader so you know when a new podcast comes out.
